IIT Delhi Students present research at ICMOTA 2026
The ICMOTA 2026 conference, held at IIT BHU from 14th to 16th March, marked a major milestone as India's first international conference dedicated to optimization. The three-day event brought together participants from several IITs and reputed institutions across the country, creating a strong platform for academic exchange and collaboration.
Several distinguished speakers, including Prof. S. K. Neogy from ISI Delhi and Prof. S. Dharamaraja from IIT Delhi, delivered insightful talks on contemporary developments in the field. A total of nine students from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at IIT Delhi presented their research across diverse domains such as stock portfolio optimization, military airlift operations, and dynamic route planning of combat aircraft, making the conference a highly enriching experience for all participants.
