Our team from Public Systems Lab secured the Second Runner-Up (Third Prize) at the Emerging Leaders Competition 2025, organized by the Dr. Pritam Singh Foundation and FORE School of Management, New Delhi.

Led by Atul Sharma (Ph.D. Research Scholar), the team included Dr. Mohit Tyagi, Prof. Nomesh Bolia, and Prof. Prasanna Ramamoorthy. Their project, “Decision Support System for Food Grain Movement Optimisation in FCI,” presents a mathematical optimization framework aimed at improving the efficiency and coordination of food grain logistics across India.

The competition featured participation from several leading institutions, with 13 organizations reaching the final round. The team acknowledged the support of mentors and organizers for encouraging impactful research at the intersection of policy, operations, and technology.
