Prof. Prashant Palkar was invited to deliver a talk at the 5th International Conference on Nonlinear Applied Analysis and Optimization (ICNAAO 2025) held at IIT Jodhpur from December 4–6, 2025. During the conference, he presented his work on “3D Packing Optimization using Clustering and Integer Programming”, focusing on intelligent cartonization strategies for sustainable packaging optimization at scale.

The research, carried out in collaboration with Thermo Fisher Scientific, employs Mixed-Integer Programming and Clustering techniques to address real-world industrial packaging challenges. The invited talk highlighted both the theoretical and practical impact of optimization methods in improving efficiency and sustainability.
